A Parent’s Perspective

by Kim Reince

Hello Parents, I am Kim Reince, the assistant director at One for Autism Youth and Adult Treatment Center. I have a 6 year old kiddo on the spectrum and just wanted to let you know about a great opportunity. Check out the University of Texas Autism Project. They have a family play day that is amazing. It’s workshop that guides us toward engaging in meaningful play activities with our kids. The games are proudfuly simple, fun, and focus on specified sensory systems. Our family loved the workshop, hopefully you will too! http://www.edb.utexas.edu/utap/smi/
